Oh Canada!
I am now moved to Vancouver, a nice and beautiful city. The de ja vu moments are grand and everyday I realize how much I had missed Canada in the past three years, how much I am missing San Francisco, how much I long to be in Berkeley, how much I want to be in Toronto, and how dearly I wish I was in Europe all at the same time. Perhaps, with dying, I can finally be free of space and time grounding me to this moment to sit down here and write. I was under a strong impression that Vancouver is a sterile city, much like Los Angeles of the north. To my fascination and amazement, I am slowly realizing that there's an underground to the city, and that people look very normal and beautiful on the outside but the inside stories they carry is fascinating. My favorite place is the Kits neighborhood not because of its vicinity to David Suzuki, but because the Kits pool, the jewel of Vancouver, is closeby. Summer, sun, cherry blossoms, swimming pools, sick intense sceneries, and alluring characters surround me. Make me grounded now, if you can, Vancouver. Thank you.
